NOTICE The Board of County Commissioners of Hamilton County, Florida, hereby gives notice of intent to consider the enactment of an Ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF HAMILTON COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO GRANT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AD VALOREM TAX EXEMPTIONS TO NEW BUSINESSES AND EXPANSIONS OF EXISTING BUSINESSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 196.1995, FLORIDA STATUTES; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing regarding that Ordinance on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 9:20 A.M. in the County Commissioners Board Room (Room 112), Hamilton County Courthouse, 207 NE First Street, Room 112, Jasper, FL 32052. The Board will consider the enactment of that Ordinance following that public hearing. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance. The proposed Ordinance may be inspected by the public during regular business hours at the office of the Clerk of Circuit Court, Room 106, Hamilton County Courthouse, 207 NE First Street, Jasper, Florida 32052. In accordance with Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, notice is given that if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board of County Commissioners with respect to the foregoing he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
