Public Housing waitlist opens for Newport Village on March 31, 2026.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Monroe County Housing Authority (MCHA) announces the opening of the Public Housing waitlist for Newport Village, a public housing development consisting of 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom homes located at 1 Harry Davis Circle, Key Largo, Florida.
Opening Date & Time: Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
Closing Date & Time: The MCHA will close the waiting list when the estimated waiting period for housing applicants on the list reaches 24 months for the most current applicants.
How to Apply:
Applications will only be accepted electronically. You may apply online at cityofkeywest.housingmanager.com. 
 New Applicants: If you are not currently on any of our housing waitlists, you may submit a new application for this property or any other housing programs by logging onto the website and clicking Apply for Housing.
 Current Applicants: If you are already on any of our housing waitlists, you may apply for this property or any additional programs by logging onto the website and clicking View Your Application. This notice will not affect anyone currently on a waitlist. You will remain on your existing waitlist(s), but you must keep your information current in the online portal. 
 Note to Section 8 Participants: Current Section 8 participants must submit a separate application if they wish to apply for Public Housing.
Eligibility & Preferences:
HUD income limitations apply. Local and Working Preferences are available and will be applied in accordance with
the Housing Authoritys Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP).

Applicants without online access may use a dedicated kiosk at our main office located at 1400 Kennedy Drive, Key West, FL 33040, during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday).
