Candidates sought for Ranger Drainage District supervisor position in Orange County.

SOLICITATION OF CANDIDATES
The Ranger Drainage District, a Chapter 298, Florida Statutes, water control district, is soliciting candidates for the position of one supervisor to serve on the Board of Supervisors of the District, which is the governing body of the District.        To be eligible for candidacy, the proposed candidate must be an owner of land within the District and a resident of Orange County, Florida.  In addition, the proposed candidate may not be a party to any written or oral agreement which would require him or her to transfer the land owned upon the expiration of his or her term as supervisor, if elected. 
Any persons desiring to run as a candidate for the position of supervisor must submit a written statement to that effect, including their name, address, and telephone number, and reciting the proposed candidates qualifications as above stated.  The statement must be submitted by no later than 12:00 noon on Friday, March 20, 2026, to Dawn Mullins, Supervisor of Elections, at the Districts office located at 19950 Nugent Street, Orlando, Florida 32833.
