Pursuant to O.C.G.A.  19-8-10 & 19-8-12(e) This is a NOTICE TO: WILLIAM DAVID MCCLURE, SR., THE BIOLOGICAL FATHER of W.D.H., a male minor child, year of birth 2018.
NOTICE: A Petition for Third Party Adoption in the Superior Court of Pickens County, Georgia seeking to have a hearing on the Petition. The consequences of the relief requested by the Petitioners are set forth in detail by the Petition and a copy of that Petition may be obtained at the Clerk of Court's office at 52 North Main Street, Jasper, Georgia 30143 or from Petitioners' attorney, Nancy C. Maddox, 23 Mary St., Jasper, Georgia 30143, telephone number (706) 253-3707. You are further notified that this Petition for Third Party Adoption was filed on the 14th day of April, 2026. Any biological father who is not legal father shall lose all rights to the minor child and will neither receive notice nor be entitled to object to the adoption of the minor child unless, within thirty (30) days of receipt of such notice he files: (1) A petition to legitimate the child pursuant to O.C.G.A 19-7-22; and (2) Notice of the filing of the petition to legitimate with the court in which this adoption action is pending and to the person who provided such notice to the father.
