NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of DeFuniak Springs is soliciting sealed Proposals forRFP 2026-01-AP Runway 9-27 Extension. Sealed RFPs will be received in the City Clerks Office,City of DeFuniak Springs, 1350 Baldwin Avenue, PO Box 685, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435 on orby March 3, 2026, no later than 1:00 P.M. (local time). Bids will be open at 1:00 P.M. (local time) inCITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1350 Baldwin Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2026 AT 10:00 AMCT at the DeFuniak Springs Municipal Airport, 183 Gene Hurley Road, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435(850) 892- 2000. Each bidder shall be limited to three personnel per organization.
To be considered, Firm/Team must submit one (1) original on a thumb drive, one (1) original hard ina sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the Firm/Teams name and address, and the wordsCity Manager Koby Townsend: Sealed Bid  RFP 2026-01-AP Runway 9-27 Extension. addressedto: City Clerk 1350 Baldwin Avenue, PO Box 685, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.
All RFPs will be publicly opened and only the names of the Respondents will be disclosed. All prospective Respondents are hereby instructed NOT to contact any member of the City ofDeFuniak Springs, City Council, City Manager, or City of DeFuniak Springs staff member otherthan the authorized City contact person identified in this solicitation, or the City's designatedprocurement staff member, regarding this solicitation package, or the Respondent's submittalpackage, City's Intent to Award, or City's Intent to Reject (if applicable) at any time prior to theFORMAL AWARD for this project. Any such contact may be cause for rejection of your submittal.
