The City Council of the City of Fort Myers, Florida, proposes to adopt the following ordinance: RESOLUTION NO. 2026-21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT MYERS, FLORIDA, VACATING A 0.10 ACRE PORTION OF IMPROVED RIGHT OF WAY, LOCATED SOUTH OF COLONIAL BOULEVARD, EAST OF DELEON STREET, NORTH OF NORTH DRIVE, AND WEST OF SOUTH CLEVELAND AVENUE, IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF LEE COUNTY, FLORIDA PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The Fort Myers City Council will hold a PUBLIC HEARING concerning the proposed enactment of the above titled resolution in the Council Chambers at Oscar M. Corbin, Jr. City Hall, 2200 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida, on Monday, April 20, 2026, on or about 5:15 oclock p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard. Copies of the proposed resolution may be obtained or inspected at the City Clerks Office in Oscar M. Corbin, Jr. City Hall or viewed at fortmyers.gov. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard in respect to the proposed resolution. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by City Council with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
