Waitlist for Eastwind Apartments opens April 22, 2026.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Monroe County Housing Authority (MCHA) announces the opening of the Waitlist for Eastwind Apartments, a housing development consisting of 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom homes located at 240 Sombrero Beach Road, Marathon, Florida. 
Opening Date & Time: Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
Closing Date & Time: The MCHA will close the Waitlist when the estimated waiting period for new applicants reaches 24 months.
How to Apply:
Applications will only be accepted electronically. You may apply online at cityofkeywest.housingmanager.com.
 New Applicants: If you are not currently on any of our housing waitlists, you may submit a new application for this property or any other housing programs by logging onto the website and clicking Apply for Housing.
 Current Applicants: If you are already on any of our housing waitlists, you may apply for this property or any additional programs by logging onto the website and clicking View Your Application. This notice will not affect anyone currently on a waitlist. You will remain on your existing waitlist(s), but you must keep your information current in the online portal.
Eligibility & Tenant Selection:
HUD income limitations apply. Names will be added to the Waitlist in the order the application is received. The order in which families are selected is determined by the availability of units and any local or working preferences the family qualifies for, in accordance with MCHA procedures.
Assistance & Reasonable Accommodation:
Applicants without internet access may use a dedicated kiosk at our Main Office: 1400 Kennedy Drive, Key West, FL 33040, open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
