LEGAL NOTICE LANTANA TOWN COUNCIL February 09, 2026 On Monday, February 09, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Town Hall of the Town of Lantana, Florida, 500 Greynolds Circle, Lantana, Florida, or as soon thereafter as possible, and which may be continued from time to time and place to place as necessary, the Town Council will consider and make a final determination on the following Ordinance: ORDINANCE NO. O-01-2026 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LANTANA, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 17 STREETS, SIDEWALKS AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES AT ARTICLE VI. TOWN PARKS BY ADOPTING NEW SECTION 17-79. TO ADOPT REGULATIONS PROHIBITING COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY IN TOWN PARKS, EXCEPT UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES, WITH SUCH SECTION BEING ENTITLED COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY PROHIBITED; PROVIDING THAT THE REMAINDER OF CHAPTER 17 SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ENACTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. All interested parties are invited to appear at the meeting, as may be continued from time to time, and to be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. The above Ordinance can be inspected and copied at the Town Clerks Office during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. All interested persons are encouraged to come to the public hearing and be heard. If a person decides to appeal any decision of the Town Council with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
