NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT RULES OF THE SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT The South Florida Water Management District (District) is proposing to amend Rule 40E- 7.215, F.A.C.as follows: amend subsection 40E-7.215(6) to allow free public access to Form 1112, Statement of No Suspension, through a hyperlink in the Florida Administrative Code. The proposed amendments will improve public access to incorporated materials and maintain consistency in the Districts contracting, default, and suspension procedures. OnApril9, 2026, theDistricts Governing BoardauthorizedDistrictstaff to publish a Notice of Proposed Ruleand adopt the proposed amendment to Rule 40E-7.215, F.A.C. Any affected person may request a public hearing on the rules within 21 days of the date the Notice of Proposed Rule is published in the Florida Administrative Register. If no request for a public hearing istimelyreceived and no material changes are made to the proposed rules, theDistrictwillproceedwith filing the proposed rules for adoption with the Department of State. SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COSTS AND LEGISLATIVE RATIFICATION: The SFWMD hasdeterminedthat the proposed rules will not have an adverse impact on small businesses and is not likely to increase, directly or indirectly, regulatory costsin excess of$200,000in the aggregatewithin one year after the implementation of the rule. TheDistricthas not prepared a Statement of Estimated Regulatory Costs (SERC). TheDistricthasdeterminedthat the proposed rule is not expected to require legislativeratification.
