Ad #12235698, 4/09/2026 CITY OF COCOA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING April 14, 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cocoa Police Department received notification of the FY2025 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) in the amount of $18,159.00. The Police Department is planning on utilizing these funds to address violent crime by purchasing up to four Flock cameras to focus on crime in "hot spot" areas of the City. The City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in City Council Chambers, Cocoa City Hall, 65 Stone Street, Cocoa. Public Comment will be solicited on the proposed use of grant funding.
