NOTICE THERE WILL BE A PUBLIC MEETING OF THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD ON TUESDAY, APRIL 28, 2026 AT 7:00 P.M. AT THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS AT 5581 WEST OAKLAND PARK BLVD., LAUDERHILL, FLORIDA. The following quasi-judicial portion of the agenda includes the following items for consideration and vote upon by the Planning & Zoning Board: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL, FLORIDA, GRANTING A DEVELOPMENT ORDER TO VICTORVILLE WEST LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, TO AMEND THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP IDENTIFIED IN LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (LDR) ARTICLE III., ZONING DISTRICTS, PART 2.0., DISTRICT REGULATIONS, SUBSECTION 2.2.1., ADOPTION OF ZONING DISTRICT MAP; CHANGING FROM COMMERCIAL RECREATION (CR) AND OPEN SPACE & RECREATIONAL (S-1) ZONING DISTRICT TO A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) FOR +/- 132.57 GROSS ACRE SITE GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTH OF NW 44TH STREET, WEST OF ROCK ISLAND ROAD, NORTH OF THE MIDDLE RIVER, AND EAST OF INVERRARY BLVD WEST (KNOWN AS A PORTION OF THE INVERRARY GOLF COURSE); IN ORDER TO ALLOW A MAXIMUM OF 888 DWELLING UNITS AND AMENITIES, PROVIDING APPROVAL OF THE LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT APPLICATION; PROVIDING FOR A DETERMINATION THAT A LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY HEARING WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 28, 2026; PROVIDING FOR FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. One or more City Commissioners may attend the meeting and hearing. Notice is given to all interested persons that if any person should decide to appeal any decision made at the forthcoming Planning & Zoning Board meeting and hearing; such person will need a record for that purpose. He or she may need to ensure that verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony upon which any appeal may be based. In accordance with the Florida Statutes, this board/committee finds that a proper and legitimate purpose is served when members of the public have been given a reasonable opportunity to be heard on substantive matters before the board/committee, with a few limited exceptions as provided in Florida Statutes, section 286.0114. For this purpose, members of the public will be allotted three (3) minutes each for comment at each meeting. All lobbyists as defined in Lauderhill City Code Section 2-24 must register with the city clerk contemporaneously with lobbying activities. A copy of Code Section 2-24 may be obtained from the office of the City Clerk. Any person who believes they have a disability that requires reasonable accommodation in order to fully participate in the meeting should call the City Clerk, Andrea Anderson at 954 730-3010 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting. The City of Lauderhill Planning & Zoning Board Agenda Materials are available for public inspection at the Office of the City Clerk. Anyone who wishes to view the agenda materials should call the City Clerk at 954-730-3010 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. All interested persons may attend the public hearing and be heard regarding any item of the Agenda. At least a quorum of the board/committee will be physically present in person for the meeting.
