Public hearing on property disposition for childcare access on April 23, 2026.

CITY OF PENSACOLA, FLORIDA
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers on the 1st Floor of City Hall at 222 W. Main Street, Pensacola, FL, the Pensacola City Council will conduct a public hearing in accordance with Chapter 163, Part III, Florida Statutes, to receive the benefit of citizen input for the purpose of considering the disposition of the following real property:
 1015 North E Street (Parcel ID# 00-0S-00-9060-013-048),

Disposal will be performed via Request for Proposal (RFP) for lease pursuant to RFP No. 26-004 for the purpose of increasing access to childcare. The revitalization of cultural landmarks in support of the creation of community facilities is an objective contemplated and authorized by the Citys adopted Westside community redevelopment plan and Chapter 163, Part III, Florida Statutes.

You are not required to respond to or take action regarding this notice; but if you wish to speak before the City Council on this subject, you are invited to be present at the scheduled hearing.

If an individual decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, a record of the proceedings will be required and the individual will need to ensure that a verbatim transcript of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based (Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes). Such person must provide a method for recording the proceedings verbatim.
