PUBLIC NOTICE A Public Hearing will be held before the Gulf County Planning and Development Review Board (PDRB) on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 8:45 a.m. EST and thereafter a Quasi-Judicial/ Public Hearing before the Gulf County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. EST. Both the Public Hearing and the Quasi-Judicial Hearing will be held in the Donald H. Butler Commission Chamber located in the Robert M. Moore Administration Building at the Gulf County Courthouse Complex, 1000 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd., in Port St. Joe, Florida. The public hearing before the PDRB will be to discuss, review, and submit recommendations to the BOCC on the following: 1. Preliminary Plat Approval- APPLICANT: Rish Farm West, LLC / Austin Grant Rish, LOCATION: 58.37 acre parcel Wewahitchka, FL 32465 Parcel Number 02670-000R, Section 1, Township 5 South, Range 10 West. MEETING APPEAL: Requesting approval for preliminary plat. The Proposed development (Rish Farm West) will feature 9 private lots. 1. Land Use Change Fees- Planning Department is asking for guidance and comments on amending the Fee Schedule for Small Scale Land Use Changes to Mixed Use or Residential. The public is encouraged to attend and be heard on these matters. Information prior to the public hearing and quasi-judicial hearing can be viewed at the Planning Department at 1000 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd., Room 400. Pursuant to F.S. 286.0105: If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the board, agency or commission, with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
