CITY OF WEST MELBOURNE Notice of Public Hearing On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the West Melbourne City Council will hold Public Hearings in the Council Chamber, 2285 Minton Road, West Melbourne, FL 32904 to consider the following Ordinance on second reading: ORDINANCE NO. 2026-06 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WEST MELBOURNE, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE ANNUAL UPDATE TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN CONSISTENT WITH CHAPTER 163, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND INTERPRETATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The Ordinance may be inspected by the public in the City Clerk Office, 2240 Minton Road, West Melbourne, FL. Interested parties may appear and be heard with respect to the Ordinance. Persons wishing to appeal any decision made during the hearing will need a record of the proceeding and may need to ensure that a verbatim record is made, including the testimony and evidence on which the appeal is to be based. Persons with disabilities needing assistance or an interpreter to participate in this public hearing should contact the City Clerk, at 321-837-7774, at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
