ELECTION PROCLAMATION CITY OF DADE CITY WHEREAS, it is necessary to hold a regular election in and for Dade City, Florida, for the election of two (2) City Commissioners. NOW, THEREFORE, AS MAYOR OF DADE CITY, FLORIDA, I DO HEREBY OFFICIALLY PROCLAIM AND DECLARE: 1. That a general election will be held in Dade City, Florida, on April 14, 2026 for the election of two (2) City Commissioners to be elected in groups from the city at large. 2. That the offices to be filled at said election are City Commissioners for Groups 1 and 2 as provided by City Charter. 3. That the qualifying period for said election will begin at noon on February 10, 2026, and will end at noon on February 17, 2026. 4. That the candidate receiving the highest number of votes in Groups 1 and 2 respectively, shall be deemed elected City Commissioner and shall serve for a term beginning with the first meeting after the certification of election results and expiring in April of 2030 unless such terms are changed by revisions to the City Charter. 5. That the polling place for said election will be for Precincts 1, 19, and 119 at the First United Methodist Church, 37628 Church Avenue, Dade City, FL 33525 and that the polls will be open from 7:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. 6. That all qualified electors of Dade City may vote in said election.
