The Sumter County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) will meet quarterly on a Wednesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at The Villages Sumter County Service Center located at 7375 Powell Road, Wildwood, FL 34785. The next four meeting dates are:
 
April 15, 2026
July 1, 2026
October 14, 2026
January 6, 2027
 
The committee, mandated by Section 420.9076, Florida Statutes, is required to review current policies, procedures, ordinances, plans, and other regulations that pertain to affordable housing and to bring their recommendations before the Board of Sumter County Commissioners.
