PUBLIC NOTICE SUMTER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SOUTH GEORGIA TECH PARKWAY PEDESTRIAN CROSSWALK IMPROVEMENTS SEALED BID: Sealed Bids for the construction of the South Georgia Tech Parkway Pedestrian Crosswalk Improvements will be received, by Sumter County Board of Commissioners, at 500 West Lamar Street, Suite 100, Americus, GA 31709, until 1:30 PM, Friday, April 17, 2026, local time, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. CONTRACTOR LICENSE: Any Contractor submitting a bid must be a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor or a registered Georgia Department of Transportation SubContractor.
