White County INVITATION FOR BIDS The White County Board of Commissioners will receive sealed bids from qualified contractors for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for combinations of Asphalt Binder, Patching, Leveling, Overlay and Striping on Six County Roads. Project No.: LMIG CP340-084-056-062-191-085-251 (2026) Deadline for Bids: Friday, March 27, 2026 AT 10:00 A.M. at the White County Board of Commissioners Office, 1235 Helen Hwy., Cleveland, GA 30528 Bid/Plan packages with complete specifications may be picked up at the White County Board of Commissioners Office, 1235 Helen Hwy., Cleveland, GA 30528 on or after February 26, 2026 or may be obtained on line at the www.whitecountyga.gov website. Bids MUST be submitted in sealed envelopes. Proposal Guaranty -- 5% of bid price, Proof of Liability and Workers' Compensation Insurance, Contractor and Sub-Contractor Affidavits and Agreements in accordance with O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 regarding Federal Work Program EEV, Drug-Free Work Place Affidavit, W9, Bidder's Certification, and any issued Addenda, MUST all be completed and returned as part of the Bid Contract documentation for Bid Opening. Two complete original Bid/Contract documents shall be submitted. Failure to comply will be grounds for dismissal of bid. The Vendor Name and complete Project Name MUST appear legibly on the outside of the envelope. Bids will be accepted until date of opening. Bids will be opened promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026 at the White County Board of Commissioners Office, 1235 Helen Hwy., Cleveland, GA 30528. A Pre-Bid meeting scheduled for March 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the White County Public Works Training Room, 675 Truelove Rd., Cleveland, GA 30528 is MANDATORY. Bids will not be accepted from companies not in attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting. AWARD OF CONTRACT: The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, delete individual items, re-advertise and to waive minor informalities.
