INVITATION FOR BIDS For FORKLIFT Bid Number 26-006-MWA Notice is hereby given that the Macon Water Authority will receive sealed bids until 12:00 noon at the time legally prevailing in Macon, Georgia, on Tuesday, March 10,2026 for New Forklift. Bids will be publicly opened starting at 2:00 PM. Bid documents may be viewed and downloaded from the Georgia Procurement Registry website at http://ssl.doas.state.ga.us/PRSapp/PR_custom_index.jsp?agency=33561, or from the Macon Water Authority website at http://www.maconwater.org/invitations-to-bid. Bid documents are also available from the Macon Water Authority Purchasing Office via email to rhsmith@maconwater.org. Bid envelopes should be sealed and CLEARLY MARKED on the outside as "BID FOR NEW FORKLIFT" and delivered to: Macon Water Authority ATTN: Rhonda Smith 790 Second Street Macon, Georgia 31201 The Macon Water Authority reserves full freedom (in addition to the right to reject any and all bids) in awarding bids to consider all available factors including, but not limited to, price, reputation, financial responsibility, and experience. In addition, the bidder recognizes the right of the Authority to reject a bid if the bidder fails to furnish any required submittals on the date required by the bidding documents, or if the bid is in any way incomplete or irregular. Hence, the Authority may award bids to other than the lowest bidder if in the judgment of the Board the interest of the Authority will be best served by award to another.
