DOB: 08-03-2025 File Number: 249241 TO: ALEXA HERRING(MOTHER), and any unknown/unnamed PUTATIVE/LEGAL/BIOLOGICAL FATHER OF THE ABOVE-NAMED CHILD, WHEREABOUTS ARE UNKNOWN. GREETINGS: You are hereby notified that on February 11, 2026, the Georgia Department of Human Services, through its agent, Fulton County Division of Family and Children Services, whose address is 5710 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park, Georgia 30349 submitted a Non-reunification case plan seeking that this Court adopt a permanency plan for the child of Adoption. Through the submission of the Non-Reunification case plan, DFCS is requesting that the Court relieve the Department from providing any reunification or any additional assistance in helping the parent establish a relationship with the child on the grounds that the mothers whereabouts have been unknown since the child entered agency custody in September 2025 and that grounds for termination of parental rights exists. O.C.G.A. ? 15-11-310. Pursuant to O.C.G.A. ? 15-11-204, if the Departments case plan does not contain a plan for reunification services, the court shall hold a non-reunification hearing to review the report and the determination that a plan for reunification services is not appropriate. A free copy of the Non-Reunification Case Plan may be obtained from the Clerk of the Juvenile Court of Fulton County, 395 Pryor Street, Atlanta, Georgia 30312, on any day, Monday through Friday, between the hours 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. You are hereby commanded to be and appear at the Fulton County Juvenile Court, 395 Pryor Street, 4th Floor, Atlanta, Georgia 30312 on May 21, 2026 at 2:00 oclock p.m., Courtroom 4B, either in-person or via videoconference, to show cause why the request of the Department to be relieved of providing reunification services to the parent should not be granted. Make sure to obtain from the Clerks office the contact information for the judicial case manager assigned to Judge Coy Johnson, to ensure access to video conference hearings. Should you not have the ability to videoconference remotely with your smart phone or personal computer, computers are available at the courthouse for your use. You may file in the office of the Clerk of this Court and serve upon Plaintiffs attorney, Lytia G. Brown, Brown, Geiger & Associates, P.O. Box 428, Lithia Springs, Georgia 30122, within (60) days of the date of the first publication, your answer to the Departments Petition. A party is entitled to counsel in these proceedings, and the Court will appoint an attorney for you if you are unable, without undue financial hardship to employ counsel.
