PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENTION TO INTRODUCE LOCAL LEGISLATION Notice is given that there will be introduced at the 2026 regular session of the General Assembly of Georgia a bill to amend an Act to revise and restate the law relating to the Sumter County board of education and school superintendent, approved February 26, 2014 (Ga. L. 2014, p. 3503), as amended, so as to revise the compensation of the board at the request of the board to provide that members of the board shall be compensated in the amount of $500.00 per month and entitled to reimbursement of actual expenses of up to $3,000.00 per year; and for other purposes.
