NOTICE TO APPEAR TO: Sarah Seymour-Hobbs, last known address 7 Linden Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31405, current whereabouts unknown; and Edward Hobbs, last known address 7 Linden Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31405, current whereabouts unknown. GREETINGS: Pursuant to an Order of this Court you are hereby notified that on January 15, 2026 a PETITION FOR PERMANENT GUARDIANSHIP was filed, as amended on January 23, 2026, in this Court by Wendellyn Wright, the Children's Guardian ad Litem, asking the Court to grant Permanent Guardianship of the Children to Madison Searson. A free copy of the petition may be obtained from the Clerk of Juvenile Court of Chatham County, 197 Carl Griffin Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31405, on any day, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. You are commanded to be and appear at a hearing on said matter on March 6, 2026 at 9:15 a.m. Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 29-2-17, you are entitled to object either to the establishment of a permanent guardianship or to the selection of the petitioner as permanent guardian, or both. The notice shall require that any objection be filed in writing with the Court within 10 days of the personal service, within 14 days of the mailing of the notice, or within 10 days of the date of the second publication of notice. If you fail to appear and answer the allegations in the petition, the Court may make findings of fact and orders of disposition of the child that will affect your rights as a parent. You are entitled to counsel in these proceedings and an attorney has been appointed to represent you in this matter.
