REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDforRoadway shoulder repair and rehabilitation.Hillsboro Road length/Town limits at Hillsboro Road/Jefferson Road intersection toHwy 186for theTown of North High Shoals, GA Bid # TNHS-2026-02-12Sealed bids will be received for Hillsboro Road edge milling, shoulder rehabilitation, and repaving of shoulders with 2' of additional width (exceeding existing) per lane of travel. This bid is confined to the length of Hillsboro Road, within the Town limits of North High Shoals, GA. Bids must include the following: traffic control, utility locates, equipment, materials, labor, base materials, minimum of 4” of 19mm hot mix asphalt, white lines repainted to existing layout. Additionally, any disturbance of speed tables shall be repaired/replaced in kind, in addition to dirt and dirt placement/grading, plus hydroseeding upon completion. This bid request will be advertised in the Oconee Enterprise on February 12th, February 19th, and February 26th, 2026.Description of the geographic area: Hillsboro Road, North High Shoals, GA in Oconee County, GA. Hillsboro Road, both shoulders of both lanes of travel, between Georgia State Highway 186 and Hillsboro Road's intersection with Jefferson Road, at the Town of North High Shoals Town limit.The contract will be effective March 24th, 2026, through May 15th, 2026, pending Council approval at the North High Shoals regularly scheduled council meeting scheduled March 23rd, 2026.Bids will be accepted up to 4:00 o'clock P.M.
