"PUBLIC NOTICE OPENING OF PUBLIC HOUSING WAITING LIST – February 18, 2026 Monroe Housing Authority Opens Waiting Lists for 2-Bedroom Units Effective Monday, February 23, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., the Monroe Housing Authority will open the waiting list for 2-bedroom public housing units located in Monroe, Georgia, Rutledge, GA and Statham, GA. The waiting list will stay open until August 31, 2026, or until all available slots are filled—whichever comes first. Applications will be accepted by appointment only. To schedule an appointment or obtain more information about the application process, please contact the Monroe Housing Authority at (770) 267-6591 during regular business hours.
