NOTICE OF LOCATION AND DESIGN APPROVAL P. I. 0018353 CLARKE, HABERSHAM, WALTON, OCONEE COUNTIES Notice is hereby given in compliance with Georgia Code 22-2-109 and 32-3-5 that the Georgia Department of Transportation has approved the Location and Design of this project. The date of location and design approval is: March 11, 2026. The proposed project is located on SR 15 Alt/US 129 at S Homewood Drive, Trinity Place, Kathwood Drive, Jefferson River Road, and Whitehead Road in Clarke County in GMD 1347; on SR 15/US 411 at SR 15 Connector/Level Grove Road in Habersham County in GMD 1449; on SR 10/US 78/Atlanta Highway at SR 81/Cown Drive/Lawrenceville Road in Walton County in GMD 417; and on SR 316/Epps Bridge Parkway at SR 8/SR 10/US 29/US 78 westbound ramps in Oconee County in GMD 1331. The project consists of upgrading traffic signals to meet GDOT standards and federal guidelines; including upgrading signal equipment, pedestrian and ADA facilities, and pavement striping, as needed. The estimated construction time is 18 months. Georgia Department of Transportation would be responsible for acquiring property rights for this project.
