TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE AUGUSTA CHRONICLE, THURSDAY APRIL 16, 2026 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 2:30 P.M.in the Augusta Commission Chamber, Room 260 on the 2nd floor of the Augusta, Georgia Municipal Building, located at 535 Telfair Street, Augusta, Georgia. A pre-meeting will be held at 2:00 P.M. All people who object to or are interested in these items are welcome to attend. The BZA does not hear actual rezoning petitions. Rezoning petitions are submitted through the Planning Commission. AGENDA 1. Approval of Minutes from the March 16, 2026, meeting. 2. BZA-26-07– A petition by Mooney Contracting Resources on behalf of Phil and Alison Brigham requesting a variance from Section 8-8(b) of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance to reduce the side yard setback from 10 feet to 7 feet for a home addition on property located at 3213 Dresden Way.
