CITY OF TYBEE ISLAND PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Planning Commission of the City of Tybee Island will hold a Public Hearing at the Public Safety Building, 78 Van Horn Avenue, on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 6:30 pm. The purpose of this hearing is as follows: Site Plan and Variance: Mixed use structure - 103 Byers Street (vacant)-40026 01005-C-2–You & Me Investments, LLC (Regina & Twila Bryan). Site Plan with Variance: Site Improvements - 1315 Chatham Ave (AJ's Restaurant) – 40011 09010-Bob Turner (Andy Lynch). Site Plan with Variance: Commercial Amusement - 1401 Strand Ave (Hotel Tybee) -40008 02016 -Linchris Tybee Resort, LLC (Brett Loehr). Text Amendment: Update to Article 4-Zoning Districts, Section 4-051- Short Term Rentals Anyone wishing to speak on the items listed above may do so during the public hearing or provide written feedback to city staff.
