CHICAGO TRANSIT AUTHORITY Request for Proposals NOTICE OF TIME EXTENSION AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Notice is hereby given that the opening date heretofore advertised as Monday, June 1, 2026 has been extended to Wednesday, July 1, 2026 no later than 3:30 P.M. for the following items: Req.: C26FI103254072, Request for Proposals (RFP) for Manufacture and Delivery of a Base Order of Thirty (30) Clean Battery-Electric Transit Buses with Six (6) Options to Purchase up to Two Hundred Twenty (220) Additional Buses and Associated Spare Parts. The questions due date has been extended to Monday, June 1, 2026. E-mail questions to mcate@transitchicago.com no later than 4:30 p.m. (Chicago Time). PROPOSAL GUARANTEE: NONE For additional information, please contact Molly Cate, Sr. Procurement Administrator, mcate@transitchicago.com. Any contract resulting from this solicitation is subject to a financial assistance between the Chicago Transit Authority, the United States Department of Transportation and the Illinois Department of Transportation. The contractor will be required to furnish certified copies of any and all Insurance Policies required in relation to this contract prior to CTA's execution. Contractor will be required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations and Affirmative Action requirements of the Federal Transit Administration and the Illinois Human Rights Commission. Contractor will be required to certify that their firm is not on the Comptroller General's list of ineligible contractors. Chicago Transit Authority hereby gives notice that it will affirmatively ensure that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit responses to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.
