NOTICE Village of Antioch 935 Skidmore Drive Antioch, Illinois 60002 Centennial Park Phase One Final Design The Village of Antioch does hereby invite sealed bids for Centennial Park Final Design. Work will include: site removals & clearing, earthwork operations, electrical connections, water utility adjustments, cast-in-place concrete foundations and footings, concrete paving and curbs, pedestrian asphalt paving, unit paving, chain link fencing and gates, sport court paving & striping, engineered wood fiber installation, bag toss game, playground, & fitness equipment installation, shelter installation, site furnishings installation, native planting, plant material, and turf & grasses. Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after 11:00 AM on February 25, 2026 from Accurate Reprographics 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville, Illinois 60563 at phone: 630.428.4433, website: www.hitchcockplanroom.com. Bidding documents are free to download and available at the non-refundable cost of reproduction to print. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting held at the Village at 11:00 AM on March 4, 2026. Bids will be accepted at the Village of Antioch, 935 Skidmore Drive, Antioch, Illinois 60002, during regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor's name andaddress, and “Bid for Centennial Park Phase One Final Design” on the face of the envelope. Bids must be received no later than 11:00 AM on March 18, 2026. Bids will be opened on 11:01 AM on March 18, 2026 at the Village of Antioch, 935 Skidmore Drive, Antioch, Illinois 60002. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Village of Antioch. The successful bidder, as determined by the Village of Antioch, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the Village of Antioch (Lake County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful contractor, and all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Village of Antioch, certified payrolls no later than the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month. The Village of Antioch reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Village of Antioch. The Village of Antioch encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
