Owner: Cerro Gordo CUSD #100 300 East Durfee Street Cerro Gordo, IL 61818 Architect: BLDD Architects, Inc. 100 Merchant Street Decatur, IL 62523-1217 (844) 784-4440 Contractors are invited to submit an offer for Cerro Gordo CUSD 100 Masonry Restoration and Exterior Sealants. Offers will be received electronically via E-Bid before 11:00 a.m. local prevailing time on May 19, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened via Google Meet at that time. The project includes but is not limited to the following work: • At the Cerro Gordo High School/Junior High School: ° Replacing brick at the NW wing from the window lintels to the top of the wall, ° Replacing steel lintels at existing windows in existing brick walls of the NW wing. ° Removal of brick piers on either side of the NW entrance ° Replacing sidewalk near the NW entrance. ° Repoint the top few feet of the brick pilasters on the west fagade. ° Replacing window and masonry expansion joint sealants where indicated. • At the Cerro Gordo Elementary School: ° Replacing sealants at the perimeter of windows and doors and at masonry expansion joints. • At both schools: ° Repointing under a unit price at various locations to be determined. A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission. Attention is called to the provisions of Equal Employment Opportunity. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the project site, at 10:00 a.m. on May 5, 2026. Attendees will gather at the NW entrance to the Cerro Gordo High School/Junior High School.
