CHICAGO TRANSIT AUTHORITY Advertisement for Bids NOTICE OF TIME EXTENSION Notice is hereby given that the opening date heretofore advertised as Tuesday, April 21, 2026 has been extended to Tuesday, April 28, 2026 no later than 2:00 P.M. for the following items: Req No: B26OP04363, Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Cleaning and Repair Service for Rail Car Pre-Filters for a period of up to 36 Months. PROPOSAL GUARANTEE: NONE For additional information, please contact Eric Sarpong, Procurement Administrator, esarpong@transitchicago.com Any contract resulting from this advertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The contractor will be required to furnish certified copies of any and all Insurance Policies required in relation to this contract prior to CTA's execution. Chicago Transit Authority hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
