ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS   Crete Township Road District is soliciting bids for the purchase of fuel delivered to Crete Township Road District Garage at 25405 S. State St. Crete, Illinois. For the year beginning April 1, 2026, and ending March 31, 2027. Fuel delivery will be to an above ground facility located at the above address. All prices and quotations for fuel shall exclude all taxes and to be based on the OPIS Fuel Price Index on a daily basis.    The following are the fuels to be provided during the year. A Keep Full basis is required. Prices will be held to a one-year contract.  Class II Diesel Premium Low Sulfur Fuel, with lubricity and the availability to accept blending during the winter months.  Regular unleaded Minimum of .89 Octane.  When delivery occurs, a delivery ticket must be provided and a cost per gallon breakdown, this is needed because of multiple agencies using the same facility.  Bids for fuel will be accepted at the Township Hall at 1367 Wood St. Crete, IL 60417, until Thursday March 12th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. when bids will be opened. Bids will be accepted by the Township Clerk at the above address. Bids shall be sealed and clearly marked “Fuel Bid”. Crete Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
