ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education, Elmhurst Community School District 205, is seeking bids for the asbestos abatement at Bryan Middle School located at 111 W Butterfield Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126 and Emerson elementary school located at 400 West Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126. Lump Sum Bids will be publicly opened and read at the District Offices of Elmhurst Community School District 205, 162 S. York Elmhurst, IL 60126, at 12:00pm, on May 19, 2026. Bids received after that time and date will not be considered. Bidders must comply with all of the requirements set forth in the bidding documents. Bidding documents will be available on May 7, 2026. To view and obtain bidding documents please call Mr. Pete Dennis with Environmental Analysis, Inc., 708.277-8292, or request by email to pete@eanalysisinc.com for bid documents. The winning bidder shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/1-12. Bidders are required to attend a pre-bid meeting at 5:00pm, on Monday, May 11, 2026. This meeting will begin at the Bryan Middle School located at 111 W Butterfield Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126, then proceed to Emerson elementary school located at 400 West Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126. All proposed work areas will be opened for viewing. All bidders shall enter the building through the main entrance of each building.
