PUBLIC NOTICE Notice to Disadvantaged Businesses Steve Spiess Construction, Inc., 10284 Vans Drive, Frankfort, IL 60423, 815-469- 2333, is seeking disadvantaged businesses for the City of Markham East Side Watermain & Lead Service Line Replacement – Phase 1 project for subcontracting opportunities in the following areas: landscaping, asphalt and concrete replacement, tree trimming and removal, horizontal directional drilling, and trucking. All disadvantaged businesses should contact, IN WRITING, (certified letter, return receipt requested), Brian Vander Molen, to discuss the subcontract opportunities. All negotiations must be completed prior to the bid opening date of May 5, 2026. Evaluation of subcontract proposals will be based equally on price and experience.
