LEGAL NOTICE Invitation for Bid and Contract (IFB) to Provide Food Service Management Company Services Notice is hereby given that Hinckley-Big Rock CUSD 429 (“the School Food Authority-SFA”); is requesting bids to provide Food Service Management Company Services for the operation in the Federally funded School Nutrition Programs. Bids will be accepted at: Attn: Jessica Sonntag, Superintendent Hinckley-Big Rock CUSD 429 700 E Lincoln Highway Hinckley, IL 60520 Bids will be accepted until 8:00 am on Monday June 1, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Bids must be submitted in full as outlined in the solicitation. A meeting to tour the facilities will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Hinckley-Big Rock District Office Door 10, 700 E Lincoln Highway, Hinckley, IL 60520. Attendance at this meeting is required. Beginning April 24, 2026, IFB specifications will be available. Contact Jessica Sonntag at jsonntag@hbr 429.org Questions related to the solicitation may be submitted, in writing, via email to JSonntag@hbr429.org by May 20, 2026. Questions will be answered via email in the form of an addendum to all potential bidders. Bidders must be fully aware and comply with USDA and state regulations regarding School Nutrition Programs. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, waive any irregularities or informalities. All vendors must comply with applicable Illinois law requiring payment of prevailing wage by contractors working on public funded projects, and with Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws.
