NOTICE OF LETTING Sealed proposals will be received in the office of the County Engineer, 1214 U.S. Highway 150 East, Knoxville, Illinois until 10:00 A.M., April 27, 2026, and at that time publicly opened and read for the following items, Sections 26-XX000-00-XX: Aggregate (Furnish & Spread/Stockpile): 19,202 tons various aggregates furnish & spread/stockpile (MFT) Request for Quotations – 57,136 tons various aggregates F.O.B. Pit or Quarry (MFT). Request for Quotations – 1 or more tons various aggregates F.O.B. Pit or Quarry (Non-MFT). Bituminous Materials (Furnish & Deliver): 2,399 tons various bituminous material, delivered to various locations in Knox County (MFT). Aggregate Hauling (Quotations): From various sources, one (1) or more tons, delivered to various location in Knox County (Non-MFT) Proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished by the County which may be obtained at the office of the County Engineer, and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and appropriately labeled for the items being bid. Bidders shall comply with the prevailing wage rates established by the U.S. Department of Labor, and the Equal Opportunity requirements.
