PUBLIC NOTICE INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids are invited by the Board of Education, LaSalle-Peru Township High School District No. 120, LaSalle, LaSalle County, Illinois, for Swimming Pool Renovations East Gymnasium, in accordance with Bidding Documents prepared by Kmetz Architects, Inc., 1157 1st Street, LaSalle, Illinois. A.CONTRACT TYPE: 1.Project will be constructed under one (1) lump-sum contract: B.TIME AND PLACE: 1.Bids for all Work will be received until 3:30 P.M., Thursday, April 16, 2026, prevailing time, at the LaSalle-Peru Township High School District No. 120 Administration Offices, 541 Chartres Street, LaSalle, Illinois. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Bids received after prescribed time will not be accepted and will be returned to Bidders unopened. C.BIDDING DOCUMENTS: 1.Bidding Documents will be available on and after Wednesday, April 1, 2026, and may be examined at the office of the Architect subsequent to that time. A Pre-Bid meeting is scheduled for 3:30 P.M., Thursday, April 9, 2026, prevailing time, at LaSalle-Peru Township High School. The Owner and Architect will be represented and will discuss and provide information relevant to Project conditions and the Bidding Contract Documents. Prime Bidders, prospective Subcontractors, and Material Suppliers are invited to attend. E.STIPULATIONS: 1.Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid amount proposed, must accompany bids. 2.Selected Bidder will be required to provide satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds covering the full performance of the Contract. 3.Selected Bidder must assure that all persons employed by Bidder, and all applicants for such employment, will not be discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin. 4.All laborers, mechanics and other workmen employed on this project shall be paid no less than the prevailing hourly wage rate determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. 5. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the Bidding, and to award a contract in their own best interests.
