Long Point Cemetery Board Request for Bids The Long Point Cemetery Board is seeking bids for mowing of the Long Point Cemetery located on the East edge of the Village of Long Point, Illinois, consisting of 8.75 acres more or less. The Cemetery Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and rebid at the discretion of the Board. The Bid will be awarded to the bidder who the Board of Trustees determines is best for the project based on price, references, experience and equipment. Bids should be mailed to Long Point Township Clerk, 509 Main Street, Long Point, Illinois, 61333. Deadline for bids to be at the Post Office is 4:00 PM on March 31, 2026. Sealed bids will be opened at 6:30 PM on April 14, 2026 with possible award at the Long Point Township Board meeting to follow shortly after at 7:00 PM that evening. Requests for complete mowing guidelines and a bid form can be emailed to LPtownshipIL@gmail.com.
