1.3 BID PACKAGES
A. The lump sum bids will be received at the above address, until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday May 14th, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. The Bid Packages are as follows:

A. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, equal to 10% of the bid, binding bidder to enter into contract. Bid Bonds must be from a surety approved by the owner and licensed in the State of Illinois.

C. The bidder is solely responsible for reviewing and familiarizing itself with the contents of all contract documents before submitting its bid. All blanks in bid form must be completed. Only the Bid Form, Sexual Harassment Statement, Drug Free Workplace Act, Statement on Bid Rigging need to be submitted with your bid.
D. Walk-thru: There will be no formal site visit. Bidders are encouraged to walk the site to familiarize themselves with the project.

1.5 PROCEDURES
A. The Village of Monee reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Owner.
C. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all contractors working on publicly funded projects including certified payroll and bidders must comply with Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor including equal employment opportunity laws. We encourage minority businesses to submit bids.
D. Bid Documents will be available by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026. Bidders can obtain electronic copies of the project documents by emailing PSI at Achase@psibuilds.com
E. The Owner has selected PSI Construction as the Construction Manager for this project. Bids are being taken by PSI Construction from individual Prime Contractors as outlined in the Bid Package Scopes of Work. Delete all reference to General Contractor (if any) in the bid documents and insert applicable Prime Contractor.
