PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS Wheatland Township Road District, Illinois Time and Place of Opening of Bids: Sealed proposals for the improvement described below will be received at the office of Wheatland Township Road District, 4232 Tower Court, Naperville, IL 60564 until 10:00 o'clock A.M., April 21, 2026. Proposals will be opened and read publicly at 10:00 o'clock A.M., April 21, 2026, at the office of Wheatland Township Road District, 4232 Tower Court, Naperville, IL 60564. Project: 2026 Road Program, Total Length = 9,546 feet (1.81m)  Proposed Improvement: Approximate quantities of work include HMA Surface Removal (28,000 SQ YD), Binder Course, (1,200 TON), HMA Surface Course (2,900 TON), Patching, Thermoplastic Pavement Markings and other related work. Bidders Instructions: 2. 3. Proposals will be available beginning April 7, 2026, electronically only from HR Green, Inc. by contacting Chris Lirot at clirot@hrgreen.com. Proposals will only be issued to pre-qualified contractors and subcontractors at no cost.  2. Prequalification of Bidders is required for this project. The 2 low bidders must file within 24 hours after the letting an “Affidavit of Availability” (Form BC 57), showing all uncompleted contracts awarded to them and all low bids pending award.  3.All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals contained in the “Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions”. 4. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals contained in the “Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions”.  5. Submission of a bid shall be conclusive assurance and warranty the bidder has examined the plans and understands all requirements for the performance of work. The bidder will be responsible for all errors in the proposal resulting from failure or neglect to conduct an in-depth examination. The Awarding Authority will, in no case be responsible for any costs, expenses, losses or changes in anticipated profits resulting from such failure or neglect of the bidder.
