INVITATION TO BID SCHOOL FURNITURE and EQUIPMENT BID- 2026 BID OPENING DATE AND TIME: Friday, May 8, 2026 at 10:00 AM BID OPENING PLACE: NORTH PALOS SCHOOL DISTRICT 117 Dr. Ken Geraghty Administration Building 7845 West 103rd Street Palos Hills, IL 60465 1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that proposals for School Furniture Bid- 2026 for the above named School District will be publicly opened and read at the date, time and place indicated above. The bid specifications can be found on the district website (www.npd117.net) on the Buildings and Grounds page. 2. Sealed proposals shall be delivered to Attn: Daniel Ford, Director of Buildings and Grounds, 7845 W. 103rd Street, Palos Hills, IL 60465 at any time prior to, but no later than 10:00 AM, local time, on: Friday, May 8, 2026. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope. All bids must be signed by the bidder. All bids submitted must be valid and remain open for a minimum of sixty (60) days after the date set for the bid opening. Any explanation or statement the bidder wishes to make must be placed in the same envelope with the bid but shall be written separately and independently of the bid and attached thereto. Unless the bidder so indicates, the School District will construe the bid to be in strict accordance with the instructions herein. Bidders must satisfy themselves upon examination of these instructions as to their intent. After the submission of the bid, no complaint or claim that there was a misunderstanding in regard to items listed for bidding will be entertained by the School District. The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the handling or delivery of mail. 3. Each bid shall be submitted on the forms provided with these specifications and shall be contained in a sealed envelope which shall be endorsed on the outside thereof with the following information. a. Sealed Bid b. Proposal for School Furniture and Equipment Bid- 2026 c. Name and address of bidder 4. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept bids either in whole or in part, and to waive any irregularities or defects in any proposal should it deem to be in the best interest of the District to do so in the Board's sole and absolute discretion. The contract will be awarded, if at all, to the lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications as determined by the Board of Education.
