LEGAL NOTICE-Published 04/01-STATE OF ILLINOIS IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE TENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT TAZEWELL COUNTY PUBLICATION NOTICE IN THE INTEREST OF: LYRIC JONES MINOR CASE NO. 26-JA-69 To: FATHERS UNKNOWN AND ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: On March 23, 2026, a Petition was filed under the JUVENILE COURT ACT by ANNA PETERS, Tazewell County State's Attorney's Office, Pekin, Illinois in the Circuit Court of Tazewell County entitled "In the Interest of LYRIC JONES, MINOR"; and that in the County Courthouse, Courtroom 104, in Pekin, Illinois, at 9:30 A.M. standard time on APRIL 9, 2026; or as soon thereafter as this cause may be heard, a hearing will be held upon the petition to have the child declared to be a ward of the Court under that Act. The Court has authority in this proceeding to take from you the custody and guardianship of the minor; and if the petition so prays, to appoint a guardian with power to consent to adoption of the minor. Unless you appear at the hearing and show cause against the petition, the petition may be taken for confessed as against you and each of you; and an order, judgment, or decree entered. /s/ Lincoln C.
