Petitioner seeks alternative service for Respondent living in Colombia.

PUBLIC NOTICE IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT FAMILY  DIVISION In Re the Allocation of Parental Responsibilities of:  DORY RUIZ ARIZA Petitioner, and JORGE BELENO PEDROZO Respondent. MOTION FOR SERVICE BY ALTERNATIVE METHOD NOW COMES Petitioner, by and through her attorneys at The Law Offices of Al Kola and moves this Honorable Court to allow service of process upon Respondent, JORGE BELENO PEDROZO, by alternative method and for the reasons set forth below, states: 1. The Petitioner is not able to contact the Respondent. The Respondent, upon information and belief, was last known to be a resident of Colombia. 2. The Respondent cannot be properly served through normal means because the Respondent is unable to be served in the country of Colombia. 3. Accordingly, Petitioner is unable to effect service in any other manner other than alternative service by publication. 4. There would be no prejudice to Respondent allowing for alternative service. Accordingly, Petitioner prays this Honorable Court grant an Order allowing service of process upon Respondent by publication, and for such other and further relief this Court deems appropriate.
