St. Clair County Building & Zoning RE: 2026-01-TA Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Zoning Board of Appeals of St. Clair County, Illinois on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 7:00 P.M., in the County Board Room, 5th Floor, St. Clair County Building, #10 Public Square, Belleville, Illinois, at which time and place the Board will consider the proposed variation to the County Zoning Ordinance as follows: To consider a request for a Text Amendment to amend, modify, delete and/or add to the following Sections of the St. Clair County Zoning Code 40-4-4, 40-4-68, 40-4-76, and 40-5-30, and 40-5-32, as well as add a new section 40-5-33 (Energy Storage Systems/Facilities); all amendments, modifications, deletions and/or additions pertain to Solar Energy Systems, Commercial Wind Energy Facilities, and/or Energy Storage Systems/Facilities, in unincorporated St. Clair County, Illinois. Said request was made by Karrey Crowe, Acting Zoning Director, #10 Public Square, Belleville, Illinois. All persons desiring to appear for or against said petition may appear at said hearing and be heard thereon.
