LEGAL NOTICE The City of Spring Valley has announced that a public meeting will be held at the Spring Valley City Hall, 215 N. Greenwood Street, Spring Valley, IL 61362, on Tuesday, March 3 2026, at 2:00 PM for the purpose of informing the public of a project to construct a new deep well, No. 12, and associated raw water main, as necessary, to connect the well to the WTP. The City is also proposing to replace undersized water main between Dakota and First Street, from Strong to Greenwood Street, with a new 12" C-900 PVC water main. If you are a person who needs any accommodation in order to participate in this proceeding, please contact the Spring Valley City Clerk's office at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled public meeting with any such request at (815) 664-4221. A Project Summary and Preliminary Environmental Impact Determination (PEID) will be reviewed and questions and feedback from the public regarding these plans will be invited. A copy of the plan and informative handout are available for review at the office of the City Clerk, 215 N. Division Street, Spring Valley, IL 61362.
