PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF REVIEW AND OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND WRITTEN COMMENT Per the requirements of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act [20 ILCS 3960/], notice is given of receipt to establish a Long-Term Acute Care (LTACH)/Rehabilitation Hospital in Sycamore. Project #26-009, Sycamore Specialty Hospital, Syca-more. Applicants: Sycamore Specialty Hospital, LLC, and Accelerated Medical Facilities, LLC. The Applicants propose to establish the hospital in 55,385 GSF of space, it will contain 40 LTACH beds, 12 Rehabilitation beds, and be located at 225 Edwards Street, Sycamore. Project cost: $10,700,000. The application contained a Safety Net Impact Statement and was deemed substantially complete on February 23, 2026. A copy of the application may be viewed at the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board (HFSRB) Office at the address below.
