Bid Advertisement The City of El Paso will receive bids for the Clay Street Water Main Construction Project, until March 26, 2026 @ 10:00 AM at the office of the City Clerk, 125 W Front St., El Paso, IL 61738 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids submitted after the above time will be returned, unopened. PROJECT INCLUDES: Approximately 3465 LF of 8” watermain and appurtenances along Clay Street. Contracting Documents, including Drawing and Technical Specifications, are on file for review and bidding at: Giffin Reeise Engineering, Inc. 326 Edward Street Henry, IL 61537 (309) 356-5393 City of El Paso (review only) Office of the City Clerk 125 W Front St. El Paso, IL 61738 Copies of contract documents will be available for pick up or mailing by depositing $50.00 per document set with Giffin Reeise Engineering, Inc. The deposit for Contract Documents and drawings is non-refundable. Document sets will be mailed using standard priority mail through the United Stated Post Office. Optional FedEx or UPS delivery will also be available for an additional charge of $30.00. Bidders must submit with his or her bid “Certification of Bidder Regarding Equal Employment Opportunity” and the “Noncollusion Affidavit of Prime Bidder”. A Bid Bond is required for this project. Each bidder, including subcontractors and lower-tier subcontractors, must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, sex or national origin. Bids may be held by the City for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualification of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
