ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Board of Education, Community School District 200, 130 West Park Avenue in Wheaton, Illinois 60189 , will receive sealed bids for: ASBESTOS ABATEMENT EDISON MIDDLE SCHOOL COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT 200 PROJECT NO. ATTN: KEVIN WEISENBERGER Generally, the work may be described as follows: Asbestos abatement at the Edison Middle School, 1125 East Wheaton Avenue, Wheaton, Illinois, including one containment involving gymnasium flooring/ mastic. The Bid Opening will be on Friday, March 6, 2026. Bids will be opened at 10:00 AM at the School Service Center at 130 W. Park Ave., Wheaton, Illinois and will be publicly opened and read at that time. A Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract will be required. A Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law.
