ADVERTISEMENT & NOTICE to BID Lemont Fire Protection District Fire Station One, Three and Four Structural & Miscellaneous Steel Supply and Installation The Lemont Fire Protection District hereby invites all structural & miscellaneous steel supply and steel installation contractors to bid for construction and renovation services required for the New Fire Station One, renovation/addition for Fire Station Three and renovation/addition to Fire Station Four. Sealed Competitive Public Trade Bid Proposals are due to be submitted to the Lemont Fire Protection District Headquarters, 15900 New Avenue, Lemont IL 60439 no later than 9 am, Thursday, March 5th, 2026, when bids will be opened. No late bids will be accepted.  BID PACKAGES and related BID DOCUMENTS may be obtained beginning Monday January 12th, 2026 by contacting the Construction Manager, Stenstrom Construction Group 2420 20th Street Rockford IL (815) 398-2420. The Illinois Prevailing Wage Act applies to this project. All workers engaged in the construction and renovation of Fire Station One, Fire Station Three and Fire Station Four shall be paid no less than applicable Prevailing Wage Rates. Bidders shall minimally provide insurance coverage per the instructions to bidders. The Lemont Fire Protection District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, including any alternates considered, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and to accept any proposal that the Lemont Fire Protection District deems most favorable for the best interest of the Lemont Fire Protection District.
