ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Cary Park District Preschool ADA Improvements The Bid may be awarded by the Board of Commissioners at a future Park Board Meeting. Plans and specifications will be available beginning February 17, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Prospective bidders should contact Kirstie Greatsinger kgreatsinger@ lampinc.net at Lamp Incorporated to be placed on the bid list. Bidders will then be granted access to SmartBid to download drawings for free. Lamp Incorporated will be utilizing SmartBid for the entire bidding process, including addenda, so all interested bidders must contact Lamp Incorporated to access SmartBid. A pre-bid conference will be held for all interested contractors on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Cary Park District Preschool located at 100 Cary Algonquin Road, Cary, Illinois 60013. Contractors are encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference, but it is not mandatory. The Project Site shall be available for inspection during the Pre-Bid Conference and Bidding Phase. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the Project Site prior to submittal of the Bid. Clarifications of the Contract Documents resulting from questions being raised at the Pre-Bid Conference Shall be made by an Addendum which shall be issued to all prospective bidders following the meeting. Proposals are to be enclosed in a sealed envelope on or before Tuesday March 10, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. to the Cary Park District, Executive Director, Dan Jones, 255 Briargate Road, Cary, Illinois, 60013., and marked on the outside “SEALED BID: CARY PARK DISTRICT PRESCHOOL ADA IMPROVEMENTS”. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on that date. Bids submitted by fax, electronic, or telephonic means will not be considered. Bidders will be required to comply with all laws, including those relating to the employment of labor, and payment of the general prevailing rate of hourly wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft of type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform such work, including the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work, as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor for McHenry County, Illinois (found at https://labor. illinois.gov/laws-rules/ conmed/prevailing-wage-rates.html), shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or to perform such work.
